Terms of Service

TrustedTrades is a marketplace that connects clients with electricians and plumbers. We facilitate introductions, messaging, bookings, and secure payments, but we are not a party to the work agreement between a client and a tradesman and do not perform the work ourselves.

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tradesmen must complete certification verification before their profile is listed.

Payments are processed by PayFast and held in escrow until you confirm the job is complete, after which funds are released to the tradesman. A platform commission may apply to each connection. You agree not to arrange payment outside the platform. Off-platform payments remove your escrow protection and may be reported.

• Do not post false, misleading, or fraudulent information or reviews.
• Do not impersonate others or create fake accounts.
• Do not use the platform for unlawful purposes or to harass other users.
• Do not attempt to bypass security, scrape data, or abuse the SMS or messaging features.

We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms.

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. We may remove reviews that are fraudulent, defamatory, or violate these terms.

The platform is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, TrustedTrades is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of work performed by tradesmen, and our liability for any claim is limited as set out in applicable law.
